A product order and an international parcel can produce separate payments. Match each PayPal transaction to its UIDBuy order or parcel number.
Identify the checkout you are completing
At the item stage, confirm the selected option, quantity, product total and any seller-to-warehouse charge. After the item has been inspected at the warehouse, a parcel stage may require a separate international shipping payment. Record which stage each amount belongs to.
To include this cost in your overall budget, see UIDBuy Product and Shipping Cost Estimate.
Review currency and funding before confirmation
Compare the amount and currency on the UIDBuy checkout with the PayPal confirmation screen. A card or PayPal funding source may show a converted amount. Read the conversion shown to you; do not assume that the CNY catalog figure equals the final amount in your own currency.
Return to the order status after payment and save the transaction ID with the item order or parcel number.
Example: the order screen shows a CNY item total while PayPal displays a converted amount in your funding currency. Record both displayed amounts and the conversion before confirming; the two figures should describe the same payment stage, not two separate purchases.
If the page closes or the order does not update
Do not immediately submit the same payment again. First check PayPal activity and the UIDBuy order status. If PayPal shows a completed charge while the order remains unpaid, note the time, amount, transaction ID and order number, then contact support with those details.
If there is no completed PayPal transaction, check whether the order is still payable before retrying. The payment record and order record together are more reliable than the final browser screen alone.
Use a two-record check for a payment problem
Open the UIDBuy item or parcel record and the matching PayPal activity entry. Compare amount, currency, timestamp and transaction status. A pending or authorised transaction is not the same evidence as a completed charge, so describe the status exactly as shown instead of calling every entry “paid”.
If the service says unpaid but PayPal says completed, provide the two records to support and ask them to locate the payment. If the service says paid but you see two completed PayPal entries, do not place another order; report both transaction IDs and the one order number. Keep screenshots until the discrepancy is resolved.
- Which item order or parcel number does this transaction belong to?
- What amount and currency does each service show?
- Is the PayPal entry pending, completed, refunded or reversed?
Follow a refund against the original payment
For an approved item return, check the refund status and where the amount is credited. A parcel payment is a different transaction. Keep the original payment, return decision and any balance movement together so you can identify which charge has been resolved.
