PRACTICAL GUIDE

UIDBuy Returns and Refunds: Check Eligibility and Timing

Check UIDBuy return eligibility, warehouse deadlines, evidence and possible fees before requesting a return or refund.

In brief

Review the warehouse photos immediately and raise a specific issue before the item leaves the warehouse.

Start with the warehouse status and clock

UIDBuy describes an eligible five-day return or exchange window as 120 hours starting from the next hour after the item is marked “Stocked in”. Check the actual order status and displayed deadline rather than estimating from the date you placed the order.

Do not wait for all of your items to arrive before inspecting the first one. Combining it into an international parcel can make the warehouse return process unavailable.

Check whether this item and reason qualify

Seller support, the item condition and the reason for return all matter. Personalized, perishable, intimate or used goods may have exclusions, and removed tags or damaged packaging can affect resale condition. Check the current item and seller rules in your order before assuming that a change-of-mind request will be accepted.

A wrong colour or visible damage is different from deciding that a correctly supplied item is no longer wanted. State which situation applies; it can affect the evidence requested and who pays domestic return costs.

Prepare a request that can be assessed

Include the order number, selected option, warehouse status and a short description of the problem. Attach the listing or order screenshot and the QC image showing the difference. If the issue is a missing view, request that view first rather than declaring a defect you cannot see.

Example

Example: “Order 123 selected a blue jacket in size M. The stocked-in photo shows a black jacket. Please review the colour mismatch before parcel submission.” The example order number is illustrative.

Check fees and the final outcome

A return or exchange can involve seller approval, domestic freight and service charges. Costs can differ for a verified product issue and a preference change. Read the amount and responsibility shown for your case before confirming the request.

Submission is not a refund. Follow the request status, answer any warehouse or seller question, and check where an approved refund is credited. Keep the payment transaction and order decision together until the balance is reconciled.

If the deadline is close or the parcel has moved on

When the warehouse window is close, send the specific issue and evidence through the order support flow immediately; do not wait for a perfect set of photos if the existing evidence already shows the mismatch. Record the time you submitted the request and the case number if one is provided.

If the item has been packed or shipped internationally, check the process for that stage rather than assuming the warehouse return button still applies. Ask which party is handling the case, what evidence is needed and whether a replacement, refund or other remedy is actually offered.
